Senior Data Solution Architect (SAP S/4 HANA Migration) Contract

• 6 + 12 month contract – January 25 start
• $165 – $195 per hour (inc-Super) – market estimate / negotiable
• Baseline Security Clearance required

Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation responsible for health research, funding, promotion and regulation, are Seeking the experience of a Senior Data Solution Architect (SAP S/4 HANA Migration) for a 6 + 12 month contract, based in Canberra (Woden).

Duties of the Senior Data Solution Architect

• Develop SAP Data strategy and key artifacts including concept, high level road map and ‘as built’ for the ERP Readiness program.
• Map the data landscape of the current SAP ERP system, including data sources and targets in SAP and 3rd party systems interacting with SAP ERP.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define Procure2Pay, Hire2Retrie, Budegt2Reveue and Travel& Expense business value stream data quality standards and measurements.
• Define data governance framework for the SAP ecosystem and recommend solutions to achieve data governance objectives.
• Define current, transitional and future state data architecture for the S/4HANA migration program, considering SAP and non-SAP systems interacting with the SAP ERP.
• Identify data retention requirements for data objects in systems impacted by the ERP modernisation program and develop archiving strategy
• Develop data migration strategy and define data migration scope required to support the ERP modernisation program for SAP and non-SAP systems.

Skills and Experience Required

• More than 15 years’ experience in all aspects of solution architecture at a senior level with a strong focus on SAP solution architecture, governance and strategy.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Data migration experience in complex business transformation programs, enabled by technology.
• Significant SAP ECC and S/4 experience with SAP HR and Finance, Procurement module background that is aligned with relevant industry and business process expertise.
• experience of S/4 HANA on premise and on cloud, and other cloud platforms SAP BTP, SAP SF and SAP Concur.
• Experience leading delivery teams to deliver outcomes in SAP S/4 HANA and other related Enterprise applications.
• Cross modular experience within SAP is essential and public sector experience preferred.
• Understanding of other cloud services and infrastructure, such as AWS, Salesforce, dynamics CRM and ServiceNow.
• Extensive experience as an SAP Data Architect and Sound knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security.
• Experience in the use of SPARX Systems Enterprise Architect for diagramming and documentation desirable.
