Master Scheduler Contract NEW

• 12 + 12 month contract, EL1 equivalent
• Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, some WFH
• Baseline security clearance preferred

Our client, a very well funded Federal Government entity focused on helping the disability community is seeking a Master Scheduler to join their team on the 9th of June.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program schedules, incorporating input from various stakeholders, project managers, and team leads
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope, objectives, and dependencies to create realistic and achievable schedules
• Utilize industry-standard scheduling tools and software to build and update project and program timelines
• Monitor and allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project performance

Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience creating schedules, managing resource constraints in a large enterprise (preferably ICT)
• Strong understanding of resource scheduling, and project management with the ability to create pragmatic schedules highlight issues for resolution such as resource constraints and dependencies on different skillsets
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve required outcomes
• Understanding of portfolio and project management tools such as MS project, Clarizen and Jira
