Our Client, a large federal government agency located in South Canberra is seeking to engage Multiple ICT Procurement and Contract Officers (APS 6 level and EL1 level) for a longterm contract to support their ICT Procurement Section.

These positions will be required to undertake ICT procurement and or contract management activities, and provide quality procurement and contract management advice, in accordance with procurement legislation, governing frameworks, and bodies.

Skills and Experience required:

ICT Procurement and Contract Management Officer (APS6):

• Demonstrated procurement or Contract management experience, experience in ICT procurement is highly desirable;
• Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Connected Policies, DTA’s Digital Sourcing Framework, Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Public, Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act);
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme outcomes;
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and apply problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to meet client’s requirements;
• Demonstrated high level written and oral communications skills.

ICT Procurement and Contract Management Officer (EL1):

• Demonstrated procurement or Contract management experience, experience in ICT procurement is highly desirable;
• Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Connected Policies, DTA’s Digital Sourcing Framework, Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Public, Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act);
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme outcomes;
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and apply problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to meet client’s requirements;
• Demonstrated ability to manage inputs from several technical stakeholders;
• Demonstrated high level written and oral communications skills.

Demonstrated Knowledge and understanding of:

• Public, Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013
• Commonwealth Procurement Rules 2023
• Commonwealth Procurement Connected Policies
• DTA’s Digital Sourcing Framework
• Procurement strategies for the development of sourcing contracts, benchmarking, service level and quality assessment
• Procurement and contract management legislation, policies, frameworks, procedures and information management requirements relevant to the work area
• the agency’s privacy, ethics, workplace health and safety and security protocols
